Powerful Probe Building Facilities
InterMapper includes over 150 probes that monitor a wide range of network devices. Other polling methods allow you to test thousand more. You can extend InterMapper’s network monitoring capabilities even farther by creating your own custom probes.
Probes are easy to make using simple SNMP or TCP calls, PERL scripts, or Python.
InterMapper users have contributed over 100 probes that monitor applications, servers, wireless and telecommunications equipment, environmental variables, printers, UPS and storage devices, switches, routers, firewalls, and more. Those InterMapper Community Probes are available to all InterMapper Users.
