SQL Database and Import/Export
InterMapper stores all collected network monitoring and mapping data in an SQL database. SQL queries allow you to report on historical trends for specific devices. InterMapper includes a series of report templates created with Crystal Reports. You can also gather data for easy export to a third party reporting system.
For scalability
a single database can record data from multiple InterMapper servers distributed across your network. And, data can also be retained by creating Strip Charts.
InterMapper also includes an easy to install Postgres database or can write data to an external Postgres instance.
Import and export data via HTTP API in XML, HTML, CSV, and tab-delimited formats.
