West Lebanon, NH software developer recognized for establishing profitable trade relationships

International Trade Resource CenterWest Lebanon, NH – October 10, 2008 – Dartware, developer of InterMapper network monitoring and mapping software, has been named Information and Computer Technology Global Business of the Year by the Software Association of New Hampshire (SwANH) and the NH International Trade Resource Council (ITRC).

The award recognized Dartware for “demonstrating trade relationships which have created higher sales, more jobs, boosted their profitability, and enhanced the image of the NH software or information technology industry.” The award comes days after Dartware announced a new partnership with Ecko Technologies, a turnkey IT consultancy serving South and sub-Saharan Africa.

John Sutton, Dartware's Director of Sales and
Partner Development accepts the SwANH award
from New Hampshire Governor John Lynch.

“Dartware's business plan has always included international sales and marketing,” explains John Sutton, the company's Director of Sales. “In the past year, we've targeted economies and geographies where network management is critical to continued expansion of network infrastructures. Partnering with resellers who understand markets in South Africa, Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia enables us to quickly find and serve customers. We're building an international brand at the same time we're building a US based company.”

Dartware's most recent international business development efforts have taken advantage of the United States Commercial Service's (USCS) Gold Key Service meetings administered by New Hampshire's International Trade Resource Center. “The ITRC has been a tremendous resource for Dartware,” says Sutton. “Meetings with potential partners arranged through the Gold Key Services have allowed us to streamline the process for finding partners and determining good fits between corporate and technological capabilities.”

In business since 2000, Dartware has experienced continual, steady growth. The company recently moved to larger offices on Benning St. in Lebanon and released a new version of its software that is being very enthusiastically received. “This is hardly a great time for the US or other world economies,” states Rich Brown, Dartware's CEO “but our expanding global reach offers exciting opportunities. Networks are mission-critical for businesses around the world and investments in infrastructure have to be maintained. Our ability to move technology into other countries is essential to continued growth and trusted partnerships allow us to easily cross language, time zone, and cultural barriers.”
